STREET ART DOPING Festival – citydoping
Creating artistic graffiti and murals in urban space.
Street Art Doping Festival is an action, which will transform the face of the city and your outlook on graffiti art. Its main goal will consist in fighting acts of vandalism by replacing them with artistic creations of aesthetic qualities. Many renowned street art creators will be invited to Warsaw. Artists from the capital will also take an active part in the project. Events of similar nature take place in metropolises all over the world.
Warsaw, thanks to Street Art Doping Festival, can become a better place. Foundations, which work in and for Warsaw, will join us during the project (among others: “Ja, Wisła/Me, Vistula”, “Inna Przestrzeń/Other Space”). And the creations designed for the festival will be both elaborate works of art and a tourist attraction.
The event will kick off on the 19th-21st of June during “Wisłostrada” festival. At this stage we will devise a project with cinema as its theme, in order to provide an imaginative frame for Kino Most/Cine Bridge realized by “Ja, Wisła” Foundation.
The Festival will take place on every weekend during two months. The final artistic action will be held in the first week of August.
Artistic actions will be carried out at 6 different locations (at least), of significance for Warsaw city life, but recently falling into serious neglect. At each location the organizers will cooperate with institutions and organizations, whose presence in this particular spot is highly desired.
During the festival we have planned, among other things:
1.”Kino Most” project – painting of the Łazienkowski bridge footings, at Cypel Czerniakowski.

2.”Liberty” project on the corner of Kasprzaka St. and Prymasa Tysiąclecia Ave carried out together with Inna Przestrzeń/Other Space Foundation
